Second Chance Pet Adoptions is a non-profit animal rescue organization that has served homeless cats and dogs of Wake County, North Carolina since 1987.
Our Mission
Second Chance's mission is to rescue abandoned and stray cats and dogs, provide excellent care for each pet and match each pet with the best home for its needs, in order to ensure a long lifetime of safety, love and companionship. Second Chance also encourages responsible pet ownership through education, advocacy, programs and services.

All Second Chance Pet Adoptions animals have been spayed or neutered.
Cats and Kittens
Cats and Kittens have been tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed, and are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations.
We have adoptathons for our cats and kittens at our adoption facility every Saturday and Sunday from noon - 3:00 pm at the Tanager Center, 5995 Chapel Hill Road Ste. 115, Raleigh.
Adoption Fees: $100.00 without microchip $115.00 with microchip
Dogs and Puppies
Dogs and Puppies have been heart worm tested (if old enough), dewormed and are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations.
Adoption Fees: $125.00 without microchip $150.00 with microchip
